introduction

hello every body,
I am looking after the Kufri Zoo which is located near Shimla which is one of the famous hill station of India. Kufri zoo is a small zoo known as Himalayan Nature Park . The predominant species (apart from others)found in our zoo are brown bear, snow leopard and westron tragopan. we are successful in captive breeding of brown bear.
apart of above we have monkey menace problem in our state. to over come this problem we have started monkey sterilization programme in our area. The monkey capturing is major problem for this programme. I will be grateful if any body can suggest some technique for monkey capturing which may not be expensive.
I hope interested member will remain in touch for suggestions.
Thanks

The only thing I can think of is to put food for them in a small room or shed and get them used to eating there. Then when a big group is gathered inside, close them in and then sedate them and sterilize them to keep them from reproducing. (I presume in India it is illegal to kill them).

I have a separate question about the animals at your park. I think I saw on the internet a while ago that you have marbled cat (Pardofelis marmorata). Is this true?
