We're too far away from the mainstream media here so we have to take our own and submit them. We're getting better at it.

However, this time the Toowoomba Chronicle came out and took some even better ones which are now up on their website.
 
I also saw a newsbreak today that had footage (but missed the news bulletin itself). Good publicity (especially just prior to Christmas).

Have seen video footage of it tonight on the BBC's 60 second news,well done Steve on it going global.

Just hoping none of the cubs will be supplied to any circus's- wouldn't look good for an accredited zoo that's for sure.

Not a problem I don't normally watch the BBCs 60 second news,I just happened to be channel hopping and happened to see it,so thought I would let you know seeing as I knew you wouldn't be able to see at via the BBC website.Although if you contacted them they may give you a copy given your links to be story.
 
I don 't know why but I read this as QLD toddler beheads lion cubs. My brain was just skim reading the thread titles and this one stood out. Anyhoo it's a fun story. Well done :)

Surely, you don't need council approval for guests in your home to interact with animals that are already in your home? :)

Council has no say in it. It is the Queensland government which sets the rules.
