Guess the species? #4

Kudu21 was the first to get Himalayan tahr correct, and Pacarana blew you all out of the water with all four of his answers correct (!). I know where nanoboy was coming from with his guess of "civet poo" but the giveaway for cassowary was the colour.

Whoever can now solve mystery number four, and have all five answers in one post is the winner (also the species of cassowary would be good, but that's not going to be difficult to guess: hint, the photo is of genuine wild poo!)

Yeah, I was thinking about coffee.

What kind of camera and lenses do you use for your photos? Some of them are stunning! (Maybe post in the thread "What's in your camera bag"?)

1- Himalayan tahr
2- Golden fruit dove
3- Plantian squirrel
4- I'm not completely sure on this bird but the best bet it Asian glossy starling
5- Double wattled cassowary feces

sorry that's a no for you as well. This bird is in a different family to starlings.

1- Himalayan Tahr
2- Golden Fruit Dove
3- Plantain squirrel
4- Albino ostrich chick
5- Casso crap

:p

ahhaha well played sir. I am tempted to let you have that!

(I think you can probably get number four for real though)

In fact, to Hades with it. Hix wins!

Well, I'm afraid I'm at work at present and haven't got access to my photos. And tomorrow I'm flying away and won't be landing for several hours. So, as I won't have time to crop and upload for at least 24hrs, someone else better have my turn.

:p

PS: Olive-backed Oriole?

And I am still interested in Chlidonias's camera gear that he uses to get such awesome photos. :D

@nanoboy- What? Like those awesome photos of albino ostrich chicks? :D

So, I guess that's the lesson everyone's learned from this thread. When in doubt, go for Albino Ostrich Chick. I guarantee you it will work every time. ;)

then the game shall continue until all five guesses are correct -- and a hint, Hix is in the right family with olive-backed oriole.
