No Susie is one of the rescued chimps. They usually try and stop them from breeding but she got pregnant a few years ago and they found that the baby brought the group together so they allowed her to have another infant.

sorry, to put you wrong but the birth was an accident! but its still great news shes doing good!

Wow I haven't been on here in a while. Hsiao-Ning, yes I did receive the same picture as you, I'm not fond of it though, much prefer the one I got last year. Gigit, I agree when you say that Amy's sabotage attempts are her way of getting Jeremy's attention.

It's annoying that they don't update the website often.

I assume that almost everyone here is watching Monkey Life? It seems all the apes just want to wrestle Jeremy!
 
I was looking on their website today, they have split the orangutans up into sperate pages according to their groups. Have they built an additional enclosure for the second adult group or do they share the enclosure with the other gourp? (alternating on a daily basis)

The other thing I noted that was that in their press clippings part of the web site, one article about the new baby Golden Cheeked Gibbon born to Zoey, states that it was the third birth of this species at the park? Is this correct? If so who was the third baby born to as I know of Tien and the new baby but not of a third?
 
i think they meant the third gibbon species birth. The first gibbon birth was the siamang born a few years ago, then tien and now zoey's baby
 
does anyone know what happened to the young female chimp the park saved from the chipperfield circus? I think she was called Honey but she doesn't seem to be at the park according to the updated profiles on the website

ohh, i remeber her im pretty sure shes still there, she was very sweet. ask crust she will know
 
her name is trudy and yes shes still there.they are updating the mw website at the moment and quite a few are not on there at the moment
