Guess the movie

Has Chris Lilley been on the Simpsons as well?
no, I just can't stand him. Woody Allen I just have never had any interest in watching, but Chris Lilley....I dunno, there's just something extremely unlikeable about him and I can't watch him.

But you've got to admit he is clever. The mannerisms and habits of some of his characters are spot on. I'm not a fan of everything he's done (I only really liked We Can Be Heroes) but he is pretty accurate in his depictions of teenage girls, retirees with one leg shorter than the other, drama teachers, and so many more.

What's the tally? Who is next? I only knew Game of Thrones, so I had to give that round a miss.

PAT snuck in first with three correct, I added one correct, and there's still one un-guessed.

As it has been a while and no-one is getting number 3, I'll tell you that it is The Killing, the supertense Danish murder thriller, which has been remade in the USA for those who cannot read subtitles and watch a film at the same time. The picture is actually from The Killing II.

Over to you PAT!

OK, here goes. This is another themed one with a bonus point for the connection between all five.

Dammit! I was thinking along the Danish TV show, but I was not aware that they remade it for America.

How about if you guys guess this Tweet while we wait on PAT? :D

Tweet: "After almost 20 years of digging with this rock hammer, I am finally free!"

All filmed in Australia.

1. Picnic at Hanging Rock
2. Ghost Rider (I have walked across that bridge many times)
3. Crocodile Dundee
4. Babe
5. Where the Wild Things Are

Almost...Number 4 is a different movie about a remarkable pig. ("Some Pig!")
Same :) I always think of Ghost Rider when I see it. Same as the Millenium Bridge (I think that's what it's called) in London made me think of Harry Potter. If you know the bridge then you should be able to guess the link.

Is it Charlotte's Web? And is the link that they were all filmed in Victoria?

(I like to visit locations that were featured in movies. There's a name for it - film tourism?)

Apologies for the late reply.

There is a loose theme with these movies. One point for each correct movie, and one point for the theme.

@PAT: Were scenes from Crocodile Dundee filmed in Victoria? If so, where? (Admittedly, I have not seen the movie for ages.)

I don't actually know. Wikipedia said that some of the scenes from Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles were filmed in Melbourne.

With 3 more points available, it could be a dead heat, because Javan Rhino has 3 points folks! (Well, he did make an error with the numbering of the movies though.)

1. ?
2. Saving Private Ryan
3. ?
4. ?
5. Defiance

World War II theme.
