How bushmeat could cause the next great pandemic

When it does happen, I am sure that we will hear that it really was created by the American military to kill blacks and gays.
 
I don´t want to be mean... but... to play a devil´s advocate here... would it really be a bad thing? If people poaching and eating bush-meat start to die of mysterious disease, wouldn´t it discourage the others from continuing this trade? (Not automatically, of course, they would have to know about it and understand it first...)

The article itself... Don´t you hate it, when the actual poachers are interviewed, given a fake name and then go back to poaching? How come, that the press always finds them and the law-enforcement doesn´t do anything?

I believe a very similar thing may have already happened- I have heard that people are consuming civets in Asia far less than they were previously because they were found to be the possible vector of the SARS virus.
