Hi Everyone!

I'm Kezzy, from Ireland, and like so many a budding zookeeper. I guess there just has never been anything else I have ever wanted to do.

An actual, real life, dream job zookeeper suggested that this forum would be a great place to vent, chat and most importantly of all, get the advise needed to pursue this, my all or nothing I don't want to do anything else career.

Welcome Kezzy (sorry, over two months late) and good luck with your dream. As someone who should have been a zookeeper but somehow landed up in an office via studying history (I do like history, but zoos are my passion) before becoming a zookeeper aged 40 only to make a pig's ear of it and be stuck in an office at 50, I try to encourage anyone with an interest in zoos so they do not make the same mistakes. I'm sure you won't by the sound of it.
