What zoo should i visit next?

There's a handful of zoos out there that i would like to visit maybe this coming up labor day weekend since i just visited san diego zoo which was amazing here's my list:

Minnesota Zoo
Bronx Zoo
Memphis Zoo
Atlanta Zoo
Indianapolis Zoo
Denver Zoo
Point Defiance Zoo
St.Louis zoo

out of all these zoos which one would be worth visiting? thks zoochatters for all the help i can get on people's opinion

If you're going to visit the Bronx, don't go from late fall to early spring. This is when many attractions are closed (ex. Wild Asia Monorail, Congo Gorilla Forest, etc.), which is one of the major flaws of the Bronx. However, the Bronx does a spectacular job with many exhibits such as Congo. Tiger Mountain, and Baboon Reserve, and there are many other good exhibits. However, that's the only one I've visited on your list, so listen to other ZooChatters first who have been to far more zoos than I have.

All are worthwhile. My vote would be Memphis, but that is only because I am a cat fanatic. Point Defiance would give you the most bang for your buck, because you could visit three excellent facilities in the same region: Point Defiance Zoo, Woodland Park Zoo, Northwest Trek (which is one of the best zoological parks in the nation). Of course Bronx has several sister zoos and an aquarium also (as if there is not enough to do in New York City already). Personally, I would go with whichever city you can get the best deal (price and times) on a flight.

The Bronx is the best zoo on that list and may be the closest to you, or at least near the closest.

I'd narrow the list to Atlanta, Bronx, Memphis and St. Louis.
While Indy is a very nice, newer park (in fact, I'm making the drive for my third visit later this week), if I were ranking the zoos I've been to, I don't think it'd break my top ten.

Or maybe look into making a trip to Toronto before the place drastically changes again.

I think the zoos you should be considering visiting soon are the Minnesota Zoo, the Bronx Zoo, and Saint Louis Zoo. The Minnesota Zoo's Africa exhibit is open during the summer, and, as BeardsleyZooFan stated, you shouldn't visit the Bronx in the colder months. Saint Louis has very few bad exhibits, and has a nice collection.

It is to late for that. The Eurasia section has already been closed. Also the elephants must be leaving very soon.

Why the Point Difiance zoo is very good it has a very nice Asian section and probaly the best clouded leopard exhibit in the U.S. and a nice rocky shores exhibit.
