Hmmm..... mocking and laughing at something that is funny are two different things, I think.
For example, if someone's first language is not English, and they post something that unbeknownst to them is offensive/hilarious in English, then it is totally funny. That person, however, should not be mocked for not knowing any better. "Borat's" post was funny, I suppose, regardless of whether their first language was English or whether they were trying to imitate Borat. Of course, they shouldn't be mocked if they were genuinely trying to translate to English. My Albanian, to an Albanian reader, would no doubt be hilarious and unintentionally offensive!
I quite like this site (
Engrish.com) and I regularly check the latest pics, but does that mean that I am mocking Chinese people? I just think that some of the signs are extremely hilarious!

Have a look folks, as it will definitely make you laugh. I think that I will start a thread on the Cafe Forum.
The 'albino ostrich chick' incident, however, elicited laughter that echoes to this day, and yes, I agree that that person does indeed deserve to be mocked - constantly.

It's one of those rare times where comedy and mockery intersect, and it shouldn't go to waste. If the person is vision-impaired though, it's still ok to laugh, but not to mock. And that folks, is your Confucian advice for today.
