Albatross exhibits in zoos (the animal NOT the metaphor)

Albatrosses in captivity

I was just thinking about albatrosses for some reason and got to wondering if there are any in zoos, or have been in the past.

The only live albatross that I am aware of is a Laysan albatross at the Monterey Aquarium, which is an injured animal used for education talks. Much to my disappointment the talk was cancelled on the day I last visited the aquarium.

Are there any other real albatross exhibits in the zoos or aquariums of the world, or have there been in the past?

The Auckland Zoo has a model of a wandering albatross: http://www.zoochat.com/14/wandering-albatross-te-wao-nui-auckland-237468/ (photo by Zooboy28).

While I don't think that any albatross have ever been exhibited at a NZ zoo, Wellington Zoo regularly looks after various sea birds in their animal hospital 'The Nest', in which visitors can view patients. They have cared for albatross before, as well as many hundreds of smaller Procellariiformes (petrels, mollymawks, shearwaters and prions).

This article talks about a Northern Royal Albatross which was at the zoo in 2010: Storm blows albatross into suburban yard | Stuff.co.nz

I recall seeing an injured black-footed albatross at Avifauna bird gardens in the Netherlands sometime in the 1990s.

Sealife Park Hawaii had an albino laysan albatross a few years back. Not sure if its still alive. I'll see if I can dig up some picures of it.
