If you could meet anyone dead or alive, who would it be? Why?

The song has to do with a serious matter in his life where a woman claimed that MJ was the father of her sons. She sent him letters and pictures and tried her best to stalk him. MJ then started to develop nightmares and couldn't sleep at night because of it.

That sounds like what my neighbors fight about at night. On the next episode of Maury...

His performance at Motown 25 was honestly crap. I'd say his best performances came during the Dangerous tour.

@jbnbsn99 - It's all opinion-based. Billie Jean is my favorite song, but do I think there are greater? Possibly.

My mind's all jumbled up now after these conversations. :D

I was disappointed when I found out he lip-synced at Motown 25 but now I understand. Even without singing he stilled showed his emotions that he put into his songs. He did 'Dangerous' extremely well at the '1995 Best Rated MTV Performance Ever' (was lip-synced but it is impossible to dance like that and sing perfectly)

I realize my response to jbnbsn went off-topic. :o What i meant was that all of his songs were very good if not great for the most part, but they didn't bring anything COMPLETELY new to the music world imo. I guess it was his vocal style, the music videos, the dance moves... Maybe everyone was desperately eager to hear what their favorite child singer was going to do as an adult??

And Moebelle, the Dangerous tour was where his best performances took place. Amazing dancing, and live singing.

I think his 'Bad World Tour' second leg, was his best because he sang live in every song and showed so much energy the whole time. His worse ones were at MSG, and HIStory (but of course MJ can't do anything bad so...:))

Should I start a new thread to bring up another MJ topic? I'd like to talk more about it, but of course we'd probably be the only ones posting on it. :D Moderators, would you allow me to? (of course it would be in the Zoo Cafe)

Nah, I'm a fan of forum drift myself. It's a stream of consciousness thing that becomes quite Pythonesque if you read it out loud.:)

I think that would be a great idea.

Alright, then, let's continue. :) Moebelle, I'm sure you know almost everything MJ, so have you ever heard the song Streetwalker, the "unreleased" song from the Bad album? It's probably my favorite "on" the album (I say "on" since it wasn't on the original release). But then again, my favorite MJ songs always change - one day Smooth Criminal's the one I HAVE to hear, then Thriller and even the lesser knowns like Girlfriend from Off the Wall and Unbreakable from Invincible. I always change my "favorite", although Billie Jean is and always will be my favorite, period. I even danced to it at my eighth grade dance. :D

Maybe you are a better fan than I am because I have not even heard of those other songs from his later years:( I think that is quite hilarious that you danced to it!:D Did you do the moonwalk then the tippy-toe move?:D

I found a couple of cruel comments about him.

1.

(in a girly voice)

"would you like to see my elephant?"

2.

I think that they look like Michael Jackson. (saying that he looked liked a golden snub-nosed monkey)

Yup, I may just be a better fan. Or more obsessed, whichever works for you. :D How have you not heard some of the Invincible songs? Everyone was excited for this album, but the promotion sucked, which is probably why you're not all that familiar with it.

Yup, did all the moves haha! :D But some girl who was not-quite-right-in-the-head didn't want to leave the dance floor so everyone was out of it. Ehh, what are you gonna do?

I just skimmed a few of the pages and I too, would absolutely love to Michael Jordan, MJ!!! Best basketball player of all time...

What would a meeting with these people entail? Do you just want to pose for a photo with them, or have a chat, ask some questions, or what exactly? What I am getting at, is that I think that both MJs are cool, but I wouldn't be sure what to say or do if I met them because I don't find either to be that interesting.

My mom got to meet michael jordan at her old work, she said that he was a real snob. She said David Robinson was an incredibly nice person though.

You would be surprised how many athletes are really stuck up. I've met my fair share. The one whom I spent the most time with was the biggest jerk-wad imaginable.
