Predator species in Pacific Ocean may lose 35% of their habitat

A new article about how climate change may affect Pacific predator species (whales, sharks, sea turtles) shows that some species may lose 1/3 of their habitat due to changing climatic conditions and resulting effects on ocean currents and food supplies.

Is this sort of sacrilegious talk (i.e. climate change) a regular topic in mainstream American media? We are made to believe out here that it is a seriously taboo topic that is very rarely mentioned in the press in America.

Climate change is widely discussed in the American media. I think that the majority of Americans probably do think it is real, especially with all of the extreme weather events of recent years.

This was the article I read recently. I thought it was from Australia, but clearly it was from the UK. It paints a different picture to what you said and gives some statistics to back it up.
