it's the zoo's last big gates reciepts chance before christmas - off course they are going to make the most of the baby boom, makes fiscal sense!
I have no doubt that they would use the 'bonding time' wisely to allow them to make full use of the 'come and see our new babies for the first time' attraction factor either - why not, they work hard enough to successfully breed their stock!?
Think you need to read my comment again if your comment (which i totally agree with by the way) is aimed at me.
As it's half term for many now and the young animals are not yet on show i am saying the Zoo is not just using the school break as a cash cow for the sake of it.
As was suggested,
But like you say, if it's not detrimental to the animals welfare, then thats the businss were in and theres nothing like young to swell the enthusiasm as well as much need cash.........
just no need for the cynical sarcasm really, is there ??
as you say in many cases its normal practices.......
