Cryptozoology

Sounds like ******** to me. I would like to see those test results and why are the results not published in a peer-reviewed journal.

According the all reports, bigfoot is actually a self-sustaining hybrid between a human and a blueberry bagel.

I heard a story about a mother and daughter who caught Bigfoot picking Blueberries from a farm. Not crazy since that would be seen as natural behavior for other animals but since it's Bigfoot it makes me laugh. By the way, at least one of the "bodies" found was a dead pig stuffed inside a gorilla costume.

I can't find the story anymore but a little before joining ZooChat I saw a video/read a story about park rangers serching for a Bigfoot "researcher" who had gone missing just to show up a few days later completely ok and with an amazing story. He said he had found and video taped an actually Bigfoot! I saw about 30seconds of a clip showing what could easily be someone in costume looking through trees. He said after video taping this one, he realized there was a whole family who was, when they noticed him, chased him down and cut him off in a strategic move of defense. He said he escaped when he fell down a cliff face. He got up though and kept moving just to be confronted by a Grizzly Bear. He said he escaped but never mentioned how and that's when he said he just wondered peacefully back down to the main road.

A likely story. Was he 'high' on drugs perhaps?

I believe in them, my view is there are millions of species yet to be discovered. Even the big ones ;)

Of course. I think we all belief that. They have discovered new species of primates recently as well. Bili Ape, Myanmar Snub-Nosed Monkey, and Lesula are good examples. I believe in the high possiblity of Bigfoot at least having once existed or existing but not neccessarily its existence itself. Those so called "Bigfoot researchers" don't help.
Obviously, I believe the Thylacine still roams out there and it's one of my personal favorite Cryptids. So what are your's?

Looks like a match made in heaven.

Do you not believe in like all Cryptids?;)
So what is this- a love triangle?:D

Should we arrange a date? Maybe dinner and a movie?:D

I prefer a nice zoo visit. I think she'd rather go whale watching, though... By her avatar and her posts on the Your Line in the Sand thread, I don't think we can compromise with a visit to SeaWorld:D

@jbnbsn- What are you doing on this thread anyway? I thought you didn't believe in any Cryptids? If not I'd like to hear what they are (besides the Thylacine of course:D;))

Technically, the Thylacine isn't a cryptid. A cryptid is an unknown animal. The thylacine is just an extinct animal (with a slight, and I mean miniscully slight chance of still surviving).

Other than that, it's at least an entertaining thread.

A slight, miniscull chance is still a chance;)
Many Extinct animals that are reported as still surviving on placed on lists of Cryptids and have come up on this thread before. Isn't the Kouprey suppose to be Extinct? Yet you still seem to believe in that so that does count:cool:

Never once have I claimed that the Kouprey is still alive. We simply do not have enough evidence to know one way or the other on the status of that animal. What I will say, is that there is a darn good potential for a fascinating story with the Kouprey.

You still writing that book?
