Good news for Guyana jaguars

I was once tracked by a jaguar in Guyana when I stayed with amerindians deep in the south of the country. I thought I was tracking him but when I turned round thinking I had lost him I saw fresh tracks on top of my foot prints. The hairs on the back of my need stood up and I started to make a fair amount of noise. I would have dearly loved to have seen him though.
It is great new about the agreement. I spent six months there a few years ago to assess the natural resources on behalf of the Guyanees governemnt, but thats another story. The main thing is that they have agreed and signed. I seemed to have been there before any wodespread eco toursim took off and I sincerely hope it has been done with real environment issues at heart.
