Though I'm not for sure on this, I doubt there are SSP's for South-centeral black rhinos and drills. Drills are extremely uncommon in America and most have died off. I believe Tanganyika Wildlife Park works with South-centerals because the sap. dropped them. Not completely sure though.

There's only 2 Sumatran Rhinos left and there's still a SSP for them. There are still a good few rhinos left at DAK and in Texas.

Thylacinealive: You might want to check some of those species to see if they are PMP instead of SSP, some of them may surprise you...... :)

Well if I could find a list of either I would. Most I know are, some I'm not sure (that's why there's the '?'). Chacoan Peccaries are also SSP, by the way.

What you need to look at our the specific taxon advisory group's(tag), they normally provide the list of SSP's that they overlook along with PMP's. Google is your friend when looking for info on tag's.

Thylo,
Go to the AZA website and look for Animal Care on the homepage, then go to Animal Programs. You can find out which TAGS there are and you can find out about ssp's. You will not find a list, but you can input the species and you will be able to see if is an ssp or not.
