Football isn't just about football. It's the excitement of two countries pitted against each other. It ignites Europe. I think the average football fan who isn't German may not be too bothered about who wins or loses. A German team versus an English team sounds exciting. An Italian team versus a Spanish team sounds exciting. A Turkish team versus a Greek team sounds a bit too exciting. :D
 
Well, although I have a german background, I also think it would be more interesting to have two teams of different nations in the CL final.

On the other hand I have to say: It is (unfortunately imo) no longer the Cup of Champions, so that could happen. And yes: For the English it must be a very painful penalty to see two german teams in the most important European Football Final...:) (and to see that their own league is obviously overrated).

relegation strugglers Wigan athletic scored a 91st minute winner against last seasons premier league champions Manchester city to win the 150th FA cup
 
End of the season tommorow, no relegation places left after wigan went down three days after winning the FA cup. Any opinions on who will go up In the play off final? Watford or Palace? I think Watford.

Anyone watch/watching Bradford v Northampton? Cracking game so far, never seen a game like it. Bradford three nil up in the first half an hour. Unbelievable :D

I remember that game, even though it was a charity friendly I think he should have been red carded.
 
well we started summer workouts at my first real (ie getting paid) football coaching job, I'm coaching Wide Receivers and a booth coach.
