Burgers' Zoo Burgers Zoo

Gorilla N'Gayla has given birth to twins, in the night of 12-13 june!

They are already visible for the public

That's exciting news, is she an experienced mother?

It are her 4th and 5th baby, the gender is already known and the 2 are a male and a female.

Other recent births include bighorn sheep, forest reindeer and 2 white bearded gnu.

Any updates on the twins?

Sunday I could barely see them, because of a very caring mother :p. As far as I know they are still doing fine.

Other news: 3 greater flamingo's hatched, there are now 4 young white bearded wildebeasts, so with a group of almost 20 animals, they now have the biggest group in Europe. Further 2 bighorn sheep were born, as is a siamang

Thank you that sounds great

I visited here last week, I have to say from the zoos I've seen in Europe so far this is easily in the top 5. It has only a few enclosures that I feel could be better, but overall a fantastic experience.
On a side note I also went to Rotterdam, and this easily fits into a Euro top 10 too.
