I have compiled a list of 26 zoos and aquariums in Australia and the average annual attendance for each facility. The numbers were obtained via the IZY (International Zoo Yearbook) and also through Google searches and general news releases from the establishments. Enjoy! Most of the figures should be very accurate as the data comes from the zoos themselves.

I added Australia Zoo (700,000) but it is difficult to find reliable information on the annual attendance of that facility. Also, there are over a hundred little wildlife parks scattered around Australia (all with almost the exact same species) and once again it is extremely hard to find annual attendance numbers for most of them.

Yes I’d assume so, there’s no other facilities in Darwin that could potentially be in there aside from Crocosaurus Cove (bar Territory Wildlife Park which is already mentioned).

I'm not sure what facility the International Zoo News was referring to, but there was apparently a Darwin Aquarium that opened in 1988. I believe that it is now permanently closed.
