I dont keep numbers, but saw a few birds I have not seen before or for a long time this week near Ivanhoe.
Grey Goshawk sitting on a dead branch beside the road as I drove past. I am definite what I saw although the bird book says I was north of their range.
Crimson Chats. Saw a flock of at least 5 after at first seeing the red and thinking they were red capped robins before getting a better look.
Australian Ringnecks and Blue Bonnets which I have not seen for several years.
I have never seen most of those birds. When you said Ivanhoe, I got excited, because I drive past Ivanhoe in Victoria quite often.
Still not numbering your birds eh?![]()
I don't know what number I'm on!I'm just listing what I see at this point, I'm not anywhere near the numbers most of you guys have.

I am in competition with myself and have set a new target of 200.
I'm hoping to add another 200 in the next fortnight.
(Just thought I'd rub it in a bit!)

for me also, many-fold. It basically came down to money. No seal!?!?! That is a disappointment and a surprise.
there are some at the Irkutsk Aquarium on the other side of the lake (where I'm not going), at Leipzig Zoo (where I'm not going), and I *think* in an Aquarium in Japan where I *may* be going.I'm so sorry!I'm shocked! Is there a zoo nearby or on the way you can visit and see the species at?
