Closed What Just Happened?

There is a problem with a displaying of certain symbols: "Kolmården Zoo".

Can we consider this thread as a test thread?

(seriously though - I found the problem and fixed it - let me know if you find anything else which isn't right)
 
I tried uploading a photo as an attachment and the upload still failed.....
 
I've tried twice this morning to upload some photos to the Gallery without success. It gets to 100% upload and then goes back to the Upload Photos page.
 
so this one is 743KB (because it is cropped down) and it appears to have worked. The full size ones don't upload though.

I've changed some settings which should hopefully allow for uploading of larger files and/or files that take longer to upload (especially if you have a slow link).

Let me know if you still have problems uploading attachments
 
nope. I tried a 3.3MB photo (as an attachment) and it sat there for ages "uploading the file" then said the upload failed.
 
I've tried a couple of photo's today, between 2 MB and 3.5 MB. No joy for me either! :(

I'm putting them as attachments in my travel thread, partly because it keeps them easily visible with the post and partly because there is no Mongolia gallery to put them into anyway.

If one isn't supposed to be putting photos as attachments then what is the purpose of having a way of attaching them?
