Zoo Wuppertal Zoo Wuppertal News

Me too. I know that misdiagnosis of aspergillosis (as tuberculosis) is common in humans; or maybe something was just lost in translation from zootierliste. Either way, the colony has suffered a massive loss and I hope the two survivors are coping well.

I´ve seen photos of those 2 remaining birds and one of them is in a bad shape too, it´s a question of a few days. The last one - we will see.

Zootierliste states that only 1.1 little penguins remain, and that the rest had died of tuberculosis. A few pages ago (on this thread) aspergillosis was mentioned as a more likely issue. Is tuberculosis becoming common in penguins nowadays?

If ZTL is to be believed, the last two have now died, although I cannot find any primary source to back this up.

The zoo has received its first ever two toed sloth from Amazon world, UK, the male is to be kept in the tapir house.

If anyone has a map of Zoo Wuppertal I'd greatly appreciate seeing it. A few years out-of-date and German is fine, as long as the text is large enough to be readable.
Nothing on google maps for this zoo. My last resort aka openstreetmap has a basic overview with many of the exhibits, but several are missing. I'll visit later this month, but I only have half a day and would prefer to be able to plan in advance (no detours for suricates, petting goats and alike;))

Condor,
I was at the Wuppertal Zoo this past May, so I got a map of it. I'll have to scan it and then send it to you. I'm a bit busy for the next week or so, but I'll do this for you in a week or so, if you'll remind me.
