The Walking Dead

I love zombie movies, the whole twilight saga kinda killed vampire movies for me.

Walking Dead premier starts soon... 2 weeks?

Yep. This season's main enemy so far is a deadly virus. The zombie mega-herd headed towards the prison could also be a problem. And the Governor is lurking around somewhere.

Yeah, it's looking good! Don't get too attached to any character, because you know they are here today and gone today. I was starting to like the nerdy kid with glasses, and I was enjoying the teenage romance between the old man's daughter and the young boy. Then BAM!!!! There goes their acting career.

Anyone else getting a little bored of this series now? The last episode about the Guvnor was mind-numbingly boring. Where is this series going, and for how much longer?

I liked the last episode. It was a direct adaption of the first part of the Rise of the Governor stand a lone novel (separate from the main Walking Dead series). Seeing as they basically have to give the Governor a new army that means they have to show how it comes around. These two standalone episodes will be great for what I expect the midseason break cliffhanger to be. Either the execution scene, the governor yelling kill them all, or the prison actually fallin.

This was my favorite episode in years. It was like season one when the main focus was on character drama with just enough zombies around to freak you out from time to time.

Nursing home zombies are extra-crispy creepy, not just original flavor creepy.

Oh man, I hated the last episode! Way too slow. I think my fav was the one where it turned out that the little girl was in the bar all along.

I just wonder if the Governor is going to announce his return to the prison group by Tyreese'ing Ole Herschel. The Walking Dead has a bad habit of putting characters in the limelight right before killing them. And the last episode ended with Herschel going outside the gate with Michonne. For an explanation scroll down

Spoiler warning

By being "Tyreese'd" I mean like in the Graphic Novel where the Governor cut off Tyreese's head with Michonne's sword in front of the group. TV Tyreese really isn't the best candidate for it though because he is a fairly new character. He was introduced a lot earlier in the GN than he has been in the TV show. T-dog and Daryl weren't in the GN and Shane died a lot earlier so those three had previously filled the role Tyreese did in the comic as Rick's right hand man/muscle. Herschel is the perfect candidate to have his head cut off when we come back around to the prison group. For Michonne's sake hopefully the Governor doesn't get all rapey.

What bar are you talking about? The only bar scene I remember is when Rick and Herschel met the two guys from another group in a bar and ended up shooting them when they tried to shoot first.

Sorry, damn tiny iphone screen. Yes, I meant barn. The little girl who was a vampire in the barn all along and Rick shot her. What a tragic episode.

Vampires in a bar? nanoboy, are you sure that you are actually watching "Walking Dead" and not those sparkly teen vampire movies?

Australian tv couldn't get the rights to play Walking Dead, so they cobbled together scenes from Twilight and just used the title to get the viewers.

They both are dead, they both eat the flesh of humans, and they both can be killed with a stake through the heart.

I guess that I can have a conversation with a vampire though, unless it's Edward Cullen - he seems as brain dead as a zombie.
