Food, family, football, sleeping, hunting makes Thanksgiving Tim's favorite day of the year.
I wanted to wish all you guys a Happy Thanksgiving.
Got up super early and went hunting. Didn't see anything this morning so I called it quits fairly early (and it was in the teens) and got home to start helping with the cooking.
Ate way to much. Fried Turkey, Ham, Bison pot roast, Smoked Vension tenderloin, Chicken n Dressing, Mac n cheese, sauteed squash/zucchini/onions, fried okra, green beans, creamed corn, mashed potatoes with gravy, rolls, Apple pie with ice cream, chocolate cream bundt cake. Most of the vegetables (squash zucchini green beans corn okra) came from our garden. The Bison we farm, and the deer I hunted.
Then spent the rest of the evening rotating between sessions of watching football while passing out on the couch. And as much as I love football the napping definitely won.
