Feeding experiences in zoos

I just remembered a couple, longleat sealion feeding is quite nice. Also sea world dolphin feeding is pleasant too.

Nah, chunks of red meat, with tongs!
That means no fun.
Meat is boring, it's not fluffy and doesn't run away :)
I fed only 1 species - Asian elephant (with fruit), when nobody was on exhibit (so they won't try to feed her with crap as popcorn and cotton candy)

Similar to an earlier post, some drive through parks in the states also have the option of buying feed pellets. The one drive through I really like is Fossil Rim in Texas but I do not like very much the pellet part - it makes many of the animals beg. Some also stick their heads in the cars which as someone else stated seems dangerous. The two times I visited on my own I did not buy feed. However the last two times I went with my cousin who purchased feed. I did take the opportunity to get some humorous closeup photos of a head in the window, but I still think I would prefer if they would not sell the feed.

At Out Of Africa in Arizona, they give you carrots to feed from a safari bus that they drive, but you are only allowed to feed camel or giraffe (no zebras or antelope or ostriches). The fun part is, they encourage you to put the carrot in your mouth and get a giraffe or camel kiss. May not seem hygenic (I have not done it myself), but it makes for a fun picture!

Why did you cover the girl's face? We want to see her expression no less than camel's!

ZooChat policy - you cannot post photos of recognizable people without their permission. (Although she was the staff tour bus driver, so I doubt she would mind, but still...)

Colchester does elephant and giraffe. when they first did it you could just turn up at the time and help yourself to the feed, now there are barriers and you have to stand in line I have on a couple of occasions been the only one there ( i used to go in the rain to avoid the mob sorry visitors) and have spend awhile feeding both species, the elephants used to get a bit impatient and blow a lot of mucus down your clothes. The giraffes are a better bet, they take it with the tongue and leave you quite dry
