Secondly: I'm sure the moderators would appreciate that if we want to debate the concept of breeding and culling we do it in this thread.
Not every zoo puts out a press release every time they cull animals
Are we entirely sure that the collection did announce this cull prior to the news agencies which are undoubtedly watching them like a hawk getting wind of it, or - as I am more inclined to believe - has the collection spoken to the press about the matter *after* the press heard about it?
