How many U.S. states have you been in?

Plus about 6 hours in Dallas/Fort Worth airport, but we never left the building and the only animal we saw there was a single Mourning Dove flapping about on the tarmac. :D

New Rule:
ZooChatters whose usernames begin with "C" and end in "S" and are from New Zealand are no longer allowed to travel internationally with the intent to see lots of cool fauna that could potentially make other ZooChatters jealous.

Most of those states were either just driving through or flying over.

CA- in '13 (Sea World San Diego, San Diego Zoo, The Reptile Zoo*), '14 (Santa Ana Zoo at Prentice Park, Living Desert Zoo and Gardens, Orange County Zoo)
NM- '13 (American International Rattlesnake Museum)
IL- '10 (Shedd Aquarium, Brookfield, Lincoln Park)
OH- Cleveland Metroparks, Akron, Columbus, Cincinnati, Toledo
PA- Erie, Pittsburgh, Clyde Peeling's Reptiland
NY- Bronx
DC- Nat'l Aquarium, Nat'l Zoo
MI- Detroit
 
Of US states I've been to Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, ,Kansas, Colorado,Utah, and Idaho. All on trips as a kid when my dad was a truck driver, the only zoo I got to see was the Abilene zoo in Texas.

I've lived in Quebec and British Columbia and have also traveled through Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta. In Canada I've been to the Granby zoo, the Vancouver Aquarium and the Greater Vancouver Zoo.
In total, I've been to much fewer zoos than most of the regular posters here, probably.
