Me and my boyfriend plan a little trip to Berlin in late September and one of the highlight is to visit Berlin Zoo, Aquarium and Tierpark during two or three days in a row. Is there a chance to buy combi ticket for all three "zoos" and as a result share some money on admission? I cant see any relevant information on the website, but I remember from the past times it was possible to buy combi ticket at least for Zoo and Aquarium. What is the current situation like? Thanks.

You can certainly purchase a combined ticket for the Zoo and Aquarium but I am unaware of a combined ticket that includes the Tierpark too.

If you’re travelling around Berlin by public transport and buy a Berlin “Welcome Card” to pay for your train fares then this also provides discounts on the entrance price to the Zoo and Tierpark.

You can get a discount on the entrance fee of Tierpark if you show your purchased ticket from the Zoo. Strangely, it does not work the other way around.

Thank you for your answers TimMay and Ralph. That is really weird that the discount works only in one direction. At least we know where to go first :)

Anyway are Zoo and Tierpark too much overcrowded by visitors during the weekend in late Sep? I hope at least in Tierpark all the people disperse easily. But what about ZOO?

Depending on the weather, the zoo can become pretty crowded on weekends. I'd recommend you to go there right in the morning, and maybe start with the aquarium first to get the most out of the experience.

As for the Tierpark: don't worry about crowds. If it gets too busy, go to the mountain area. Hardly a human soul there most of the time ;)
