That's my thinking - at the very most, if it is some form of exotic it *might* be a jungle cat.
But I reckon domestic moggy.
Another article about the 'tiger-hunting' in France, if I look esp. at the foot-print, this is no-way a tiger ! :

I think the same TLD also if it wasn't so close to disney land Paris I doubt it would even make the news, i recall the incident of the Lion loose here in Essex a couple of years ago, turned out to be a standard cat. You can't make out the ears very clearly in the articles photo but they don't look rounded enough for a big cat. As you say, possibly a jungle cat may be it has out grown some ones living room or budget.
It does have a very heavy head, unlike a domestic cat. If I didn't know better I would, from this distant photo at least, say it could be a Tiger. And this from someone who is normally quick to dismiss such 'sightings'.

Thinking of the location beside busy roads etc I think it may have been dumped by some one. When we found our cat that is what we think happened to him as no one we spoke too had ever had seen him before and he was very distinctive.
Which could mean of course it might have been owned by any citizen on mainland Europe and dumped on a trip to Euro disney.
According to the latest update the police will shoot to kill as a last resort, very different from here, it would be shot dead on H&S grounds instantly.

The prints look uncannily like those of a dog
The first ones shown did, yes indeed.
It was the animal's head that made me think twice though. No idea of size of course, it could be tiny!
Interesting - does not look like it is a dog. Tail is much too long to be a lynx or jungle cat. The only wildcat species with tails that long, proportionally, are golden cat, puma or clouded leopard - but it is too small for any of those I think.
As such I am still pretty sure it is a domestic moggy.
