Premier League season 2014-2015

Can I ask why am I specifically a plastic fan? Thanks!
Never lived in this country, never been to this country, never been to a game,it would be like me supporting on Aussie team,I would just never be a real fan!I would just be another GLORY HUNTER supporting the team because people have heard of them all round the world.

That is just my point of view many others will probably disagree with it,but that is there right.

Just pointing out some things:
1. No, I have never been to England (in fact never been out of Australia) but am hoping to one day manage to get to Anfield to watch a match
2. I do support my own local team (Western Sydney Wanderers) who are more number 1 team (if Liverpool and WSW were playing I would 100% go for WSW).
3. I have been supporting Liverpool since I can remember (since around 9/10 years old perhaps) and chose them as my team not even knowing their popularity I Australia (of which they are one of the most popular teams).
5. The majority of Australian football fans support a European team simply because the A-League (Australian domestic league) was founded only 10 years ago.
4. I have been supporting Liverpool longer than my local team has even existed (WSW were founded in 2012)
5. Finally, if I were a "glory hunter", maybe I wouldn't support a team that has not won a domestic title in 24 years but rather and that has been struggling greatly with inconsistency within the past decade.
6. You are more than welcome to support an Australian team so that the popularity of our league can grow.

But hey, lets agree to disagree :)

When my nephew was at school I wrote to several "big" clubs, Manchester United, Arsenal, Tottenham, Liverpool etc asking for autographs, souveniers , anyhing really.

The best response by far was from Liverpool, the worst Manchester United, who apparently did not do that sort of thing.

I did not write to Stoke City, they were no good at the time.

I gave up watching top class football in 1987 after Stoke had lost to Coventry in the F.A.Cup, completely outplayed the visitors but had one of the worst referees I ever saw, 95% of decisions went to the away team. It later turned out that the referee family ties with Coventry, so much for impartiality.
Hope you get your wish one day Jabiru.

Thank you. To get to Anfield would be absolutely amazing!

Hoping for a decent referee at Anfield tomorrow, then Stoke may stand a chance of getting something.

Last week the world's worst referee Martin atkinson anagin bent over backwards to punish Stoke players. This man is simply not good enpugh to referee an under 7's gfame never mind Preimier League. He hjas swapped his Newcastyle shirt for a burneley shirt. Perhaps he can explain which Law of the Game was infringed by a Stoke denfender who missed a tackle and was nowhere near the ball, and how it justified a yellow card. I can answer that for him. Because the player wore a Stoke strip.

He was a joke at Newcastle last boxing day, Stoke 2 men sent off, manager sent off.

Newcastle, two disputable penalties, one goal scored when the ball went out of play, violent conduct against a Stoke player, deliberate hand ball when Stoke were attacking. If he could not see any of those offences then he needs to visit an optician.

I think it is time that the media let Ryan Shawcross get on with his career in peace.

Aaron Ramsey broke his own leg. Get over it Arsenal.

Not only is Shawcross being blamed for something he did not do, he was also sent off despite committing no offence, and the game restarted with a free kick to Stoke. I would like a referee to explain that one.

Can someone explain this incident. A Stoke City forward in the penalty area, a Crystal Palace denfender grabs him from behind. No penalty. So is it just Ryan Shawcross that the rule applies to?

Well done Mr Bruce for speaking out about inept referees, Mr Foy was useless the last time he came to Stoke as well.

No doubt he will face an F.A. charge and fine for telling the truth.

On Saturday the incompetent and inept Lee Mason sent Agbonlahor off when he was the player who had been fouled, to add to his sending off of Peter Crouch for nothing at all, (as the Southampton plater he tangled with said at the time).

It really is time that the F.A. looked at the (very poor) standard of referring, but, as usual they will do nothing.

I am happy with Liverpool's draw even though we out played Arsenal (and got to tip my hat off to Skrtle).

Cracking game to watch.....

Although there was some idiot Liverpool fan making a horrible gesture to Welbeck (due to his former team).

Arsneal has another player sent off for violent conduct. Perhaps M.Wenge should take a good look at his own players before perpetuating his lies about Stoke City and especially Ryan Shawcross.

Stoke City v WBA (my local team) on sunday Bongorob.

The result of which should bring a smile to your face, the way we're playing at the moment!!!

I can see that in 2024 WBA fans will be thinking, maybe this is the year we beat Stoke. :D

I've never known a run like the one Stoke have had against West Brom.

Hey rob that guy in the news, 'Costa' would be well suited to stokes style of play. Mark Whoose should sign him up.

Yes, he is a very skilful player indeed. I will pass your message on to Mr Hughes. It is ice that Stoke now have a team that has backbone and skill.

I never ceased to be amazed by the amount of referees and linesmen who conveniently forget the offside law when the home team score an illegal goal at Old Trafford. Games against Stoke and Leicester spring to mind.

In fact Leciester are having a rough time at the hands of the officials. The referee at Anfield thinks that the ball hitting a defender in the face warrants a penalty kick. Should've gone to Specsavers.

So another inept referee at Newcastle v Stoke. Colback booked and then a few minutes later he was guilty of a very bad tackle on Moses and he doesn't even get a talking to by Mr Foy who was right in front of the incident. He should have been off. And he would have been if his shirt posessed red stripes and not black.

I can only hope that the FA order all referees to be retrained in the summer, then they might get decisions right. But, I think Chester will breed dodos before Premier referees know what they are doing.
