Tarsiers in North American zoos

I (and perhaps the other people on this thread?) have been sent a pm about the Lincoln Park Zoo tarsiers from someone connected to the zoo. The animals from Lincoln Park Zoo eventually went to Duke (one had died, so six animals). None went to Brookfield Zoo from Lincoln Park Zoo.

Found some notes on the animals at the Philadelphia animals:
one animal was kept alive 12 years
two birth took place at Philadelphia
( should have been "philippinean" tarsiers, don't know however the exact species / subspecies.

Looks like only one overseas zoo keeps tarsiers, and that's isn't in USA.
how are you defining "overseas"? I've seen tarsiers in two zoos, and I know they are currently kept in others also. None in North America though.

yes they were Philippine tarsiers. They were imported in 1948 (thirty of them, caught on Mindanao in 1947). The two young born at the zoo (in 1949 and 1950) both died the day of birth.
