Hey ZooChatters!
My latest animal craze is wolverines and I am bound and determined to find some. Does anyone know some zoos in the US that exhibit wolverines? I know the Minnesota Zoo, Detroit Zoo, and I believe the Cincinnati Zoo does. Are there any others?

When I visited Cincinnati zoo a couple of years ago, there were no wolverines there. I saw two in Columbus during the same trip

Other North American zoos with wolverine include the NY State Zoo at Thompson Park, Watertown & Zoo Sauvage de St-Félicien (Quebec).

Cincinnati has no Wolverines. Columbus' are at San Francisco Zoo on-loan. Other Zoos that have them Henson Robinson and Wildlife Trek.

Is there only these 7 zoos that house wolverines in the U.S.?

Minnesota Zoo
San Francisco Zoo
Alaska Zoo
Detroit Zoo
Henson Robinson Zoo
Northwest Trek Wildlife Park
NY State Zoo (Thompson Park)

I do believe that Columbus was planning on importing new wolverines from somewhere in Europe; however, I do not know what has become of this plan.

I believe so, but when I looked on the Alaska zoo's website, it doesn't appear that they have wolverines anymore so I think it's just those six zoos.
Thanks for the info everyone! :)

I wouldn't doubt it. I recall reading somewhere (around the time San Francisco acquired theirs) that the entire global captive population was around one hundred individuals.

Not a lot to begin with.
