I'm saying Chilean Flamingo, as I don't think flamingo is good enough an answer :p:D;)

Quick reply only, as I'm currently at Whipsnade and my phone reception is terrible here! No correct answers so far! And just to reiterate, the lengthy creature part of the riddle is NOT a bird, but the answer to the entire riddle IS. Confused?

I'm beaten

Black rhino?

Black rhino?

Ha! Unsurprisingly incorrect :)

Here's the riddle again...

The lengthy creature imitates Batman, or so we hear!

For those of you thinking of Batman villains, sidekicks or other supporting characters, I can say that it's nothing to do with any of those. It's about Batman himself.

Another hint: think about how you might set about imitating Batman, particularly if you wanted to imitate his appearance.

Cape Teal?

(eel = lengthy creature, Batman has a cape - cape-d eel sounds like Cape Teal?)

Hurrah! Exactly so! :D

I shall now pass the lucky baton back to your good self, while I slink back to the Galleries where I belong! :)

Huzzah!

Give this one a try:

Jim (before a nose) can make a change.

Can we add a rule that your answer won't be counted unless you give some sort of reasoning behind it? So even if you guess correctly, if you don't put a reason for your answer, you're answer will be dismissed.

I think it's fair.

Agreed

Now this riddle.......

I agree. However even if it is not a rule for the overall game, anyone can easily make it a rule for their specific turn.

Giant anteater as they can eat termites apart from just ants.

Not entirely sure how that logic applies to the riddle :p

My guess is Parson's Chameleon - there is an actor called Jim Parsons, and a body structure in birds colloquially called a Parson's Nose, and chameleons are known for their ability to change colour.

...is the correct answer! :)

As Maguari says, it's your turn.
