project to restore extinct species to NSW

The NSW National Parks and two Conservation groups are going to start a project to reintroduce 10 species that have become extinct in NSW. The species include the Bilby, numbat and the bridled nailtail wallaby .

Any way they can increase numbers of these species is good. Fenced predator free areas will work, but while our National Parks are havens for cats and foxes releasing these animals would just be feeding the ferals.

The management of our National parks is terrible.

I think eradication of foxes and cats would never happen now, regardless of the state, or how ts national parks are run. However then fencing idea will work, as you say and the wildlife conservancy has a very good reputation and track record, I think if any one can make it work they will.
