This seems to be the first new development from the Zoo's new masterplan which launched earlier this year. If it is to be built exactly as the map in that article shows it, this will be built in a relatively empty corner of the Zoo, where there were mostly "picnic areas" that replaced many of the zoo's existing hoofstock exhibits a while back. The building shown in the image is the Reptile House, and this was not supposed to remain here as a reptile collection, so may be redistributed... The playground also covers the existing Aldabran Tortoise exhibit and the crocodile/alligator exhibits outside the reptile house.
