Craig has a new TV series, titled "Lion Man"
Much the same stuff he had in the old series except this is filmed in South Africa.
So far no plans to show it in NZ, but they are planning to sell it in the UK.
Actually it was obtained by Discovery EMEA who are separate from Discovery UK so I would be very surprised if it does air in the UK. Two series have been made. The second aired on Animal Planet on DsTV in Africa on June 16. I've seen the first series in its entirety. I agree it is much the same as the other three earlier series.
Maybe I should have said "wanting" as opposed to "planning" as they are wanting to have the show screened in other countries, like the UK where the original series was popular. Wanting and planning are two different things.
What does amaze me somewhat is despite the vaster size of most Lion enclosures in most animal parks in Africa, Busch's park seems to have followed his NZ policy of keeping lions in smaller pens. Maybe he is homesick. In Africa of course he can legally go in with his cats, unlike NZ.

Wanting is indeed the word Kiwipo. Discovery EMEA who have the series don't cover the UK. If it had been good quality it would have aired in the USA and the UK but.....given I've seen both series now the word quality doesn't apply.LOL
The property he is on isn't even owned by him either. Other people's money have of course paid for those enclosures. I have to agree with you the enclosures aren't very large. It's all about the animals constantly being seen, just like back at Zion. He's just got himself a very young white tiger cub another unfortunate wrongfully removed from its mother. I have a fair idea where it came from.
