Reiculated Python vs King Cobra

Very nice link, thanks @Chli. Who would have thought of a king cobra as a WWII victim?

Hard to believe but wild king cobras can still be found in the remaining forests of Singapore. The king cobra currently on display at the Singapore Zoo, a 5-metre long male, is a wild snake that was removed from a suburban housing area.

The snake battle in the video took place in a university campus situated next to a large area of secondary forest. In fact this is the same university where wild macaques, boar, colugos and pangolins are regularly seen wandering through the campus grounds.

That is really cool to hear that there are still wild cobras and pangolins in Singapore. Hopefully pangolins can stay safe in the wild in at least some patches of their habitat for the long term...
