The Zoo's new Meerkat exhibit is now open! Zuka has been very busy exploring his new home with the rest of the Meerkat mob! It’s now even easier to see these inquisitive little characters, plus there's a fun area right next door for kids to explore. Taronga Western Plains Zoo is open from 9am – 4pm daily.
the 70th Independence Day of Indonesia was in 2015. The two names are taken directly from Dirgahayu R.I. which means "long live the Republic of Indonesia".Nkosi has since been renamed Dirgah while Ajali has been renamed Ayuri70(!?)
