Spent this afternoon staking out the dipping pond at Avenue Washlands, and it was rewarded:

Pretty quiet on the bird front, though I did see the Little Owl again (sorry Rob!) and was treated to the best starling murmuration I've seen locally.

Not sure how I missed my mistake from the other day but #6 for Mammals should be Coyote, Canis latrans. But that said, with the New England population being mostly or entirely hybridized with wolves, what's the rule for counting them here?
