New species for the UK

This bird is believed to be the Belgian bird seen earlier in the month and thought to be wild offspring from the reintroduction programme. The question is from a listing perspective when does a reintroduced population become self sustaining? I'll leave that to bourc but if its still around at the weekend I'm going for it, what a bird to see!

Being as I am just an amateur where birding is concerned, and thus have no interest in my list being deemed "official", if one popped up in my neck of the woods I *would* count it as long as it wasn't an escaped individual :p
 
While driving along the A30 yesterday, about 1900hrs, I briefly saw what looked like a huge bird of prey, being harassed by three Corvids. Dual carriageway, so impossible to turn round. Nothing visible from the next lay by. Just might have been the Lammergeier.

It could well have been. It was last seen near princetown at 15:30 yesterday so the A30 isn't far as the Lammergeier flies. No sign of it today though.
 
Does this mean that the total captive UK population of lammergeier now equals the total wild UK population?
