0,2 New York Aquarium-Kulu and Nuka ?
? Seaworld Orlando 1,0 Dozer and ?
? Seaworld Texas
? Six Flags Vallejo
Are there also Walrusses at Marineland Canada ?
@Whalrus
Thanks for that info. I'm a little bit confused abut the studbook number 17-born in may 1968 at Marineland, unknown parents,a female named"Andrea",later send to Seaworld and passed away in Tacoma in 1996.
Strange, the world first breeding was in May 1975, and there was indeed a female named"Andrea" at Marineland, but according to the book"The Walrus" it was born in 1978 and send to Seaworld San Diego ca.1982-unkown death date. I guess, it is the same animal, but I don't know.
I've done a little bit research about succesful in human care born and reared walrusses. Between the world first breeding in 1975 until May 29, 2016, 25 zooborn walrusses were succesful reared,11 males and 15 females, almost a quarter of them, 8, were born at Kamogawa Seaworld, four other also at two japan aquariums,two to canada, three to the netherlands, two in germany, one to Moscow and seven to the Usa (SW San Diego and Orlando, Marineland,New York Aquarium) Three calfs were born in 2003, four until now in 2016, a fifth will come within the next days.

@Whalrus
Generally, a young animal is" successful reared" if it become older than three months, and thats the case with the 25 cafs born and raised between 1975 and May 2016.
I have the same data about"Andrea", she has three diffrent bith dates-1968(defenitely wrong, because the first succesful raised wlarus was in 1975-by the way-do you have a name for that animal ?),1978 and 1982. JIM PARTRYLA, who has worked at Marineland, wrote in his book"A Photographic Journey back to Marineland of the Pacific" there were two walrus Births in 1978, and I think, thats correct-so I agree,"Andrea"was born in 1978.
According to SVANBERGS article, walrusses were born at Marineland in 1975,1978,1981 and 1982, but only two calfs were raised. Thats wrong, too-three calfs wree raised-the 1975 calf, whatd died 18 month old, and two in 1978. There were two more birth in 1985-a twin birth to"Petula", she passed away after it, and a calf to"Priscilla", what didn't survied either.
I've contacted the Marinelands Historical Socitey to get more datailed informations about their wlarusses-I'm curipus,if I will get any response to that. Also the Point Defiance Zoo should have the true birth date of"Andrea".
Do you have any idea, how many wlarusses were still alive when the Park was closed in 1987 ? I'm also looking for the data about a Pair of walrusses arrived at Copenhagen Zoo in Autumn 1983-they died between 1984 and 1988, but when exactly ?
It is true the 1987 at Seaworld San Diego born pup was hand raised and why ?
I did some searching. Apparently the walrus with full tusks are Bruiser and Garfield. Slowpoke has been performing alone for a while, so I'm not sure about Garfield. I saw a very recent performance by her in Sea Lions High. Garfield is at Wild Arctic according to an April 2016 video. He also appears to be alone, since Dozer was sent to SeaWorld San Antonio now. I don't know what happened to him, but he was at least alive in 2012.
No, this is incorrect in many ways.
At Orlando, they have the tuskless Slowpoke in the show. At wild arctic, they house the tusked Garfield and Kaboodle. Bruiser is tuskless (and has been for quite some time), however I am unsure if he is housed at wild arctic or the show.
Dozer is a tusked, captive bred male. To my knowledge, he is still alive(at least I have seen no indication of his death) but does not regularly participate in shows.
