The lechwe were there when I visited last week, i don't recall seeing them when I was there at easter time this year though.
How does this review grasp with people here who go to Edinburgh Zoo?

This seems like a very rose-tinted view of Edinburgh Zoo - which is good to see! I think the article is happy to overlook many of the zoo's shortcomings, and focus instead on positive matters. I applaud that positivity!
The author is worth following on Twitter, for those who do such things.
I saw one Siberian musk deer in the whitson wood enclosure this morning, don't know if it is the only one there?
There is only one, it arrived earlier this year.
Though bigger news imo is that the two Bawean Deer have died.

That's an absolute shame. Animal species wise their rarity made them one of the most sought after by enthusiasts I imagine.
