Cincinnati's pottos are on-exhibit, actually in 2 different locations. They may have more individuals off-display, though.
I'm sure Grant is more than well aware of this, as he was stating that he knew that the zoo breeds additional pottos off-display, thus why he asked what other species Cincinnati houses off-display. For him to know this, I would assume he is more than familiar with the on-display collection.
Anyone know who the 13th bonobo is in the group? I currently have the following individuals:
Males = Vernon, Vergil, Vim, Zeke, Bolingo, Zanga's son (has he been named yet?)
Females = Lana, Zanga, Kimia, Kesi, Clara, Kibibi
UPDATE: I have since realised that the number of bonobos in the group has gone down to 12 following Lisa, Maddie and Belle transferring to San Diego and being replaced by Lana and Kesi. What is the name of Zanga's son though?

Zanga's son is Bolingo, born 3/16/2015. Lisa's son Vic was also transferred, making the total in Cincinnati eleven.

In the Reptile House, the tree python and the blue Monitor exhibit were combined but interior details are still on their way to be done. The Aruba Island Rattlesnake was also taken off exhibit.
Next door, the Macaques at Monkey Island were off exhibit. As were the painted dogs in Africa.
Lastly a pygmy falcon is about to go on exhibit where the white throated ground dove was in Wings of the World.

Huh? There was a pygmy falcon sign by the exhibit. And as for the Reptile House exhibit the construction was on public show...
So what's going on with Chewie and Mara? Are they still together with each other or have they been intergrated into Jomo's group?
At around 3PM Jomo's group goes in and Chewie and Mara come out alone. I believe I heard a docent say they are trying to get a new silverback for the small group. I don't think they'll bother though until the renovations are finished.
That kind of sucks. I was hoping they would re-join Jomo's group. He's a wonderful silverback.

Construction has began on the expansion of the indoor gorilla holdings, as has the renovation of the basement holding, which was previously the site of the zoo's alcid breeding center.
The Visayan warty pigs will be off exhibit for a month or so for renovations to their indoor holding and the addition of a shelter to their outdoor yard.
25 of the zoo's common vampire bats were separated out during this month's census to be sent to the Texas State Aquarium to establish a colony there.

The African dog viewings have been fenced off. The window viewing is cut off only with event rope, and open viewing has been cut completely off with a burlap fence. And what's exciting about this is that there are sings at each viewing that say, "New Mom Needs Privacy".
