Hurricane Matthew is serious, with winds currently around 125mph and expected rainfall in Florida tonight up to 6" in some areas.

Zoos already closed:
Jacksonville Zoo
Jungle Island
Palm Beach Zoo
ZooMiami
Brevard Zoo

SeaWorld closed tomorrow

DisneyWorld/DAK playing it by ear. No closure yet

Animal Kingdom, like the other 3 Disney parks, is closing early today at 5:00 PM and will be closed tomorrow.

St. Augustine Alligator Farm closed today, will be closed through at least Saturday it seems. As such a small facility, somewhat drastic measures had to be taken to prepare. The waterfowl were moved to the building that holds program animals, vultures are in crates in the reptile house, and every venomous snake is double protected. The hornbills moved to indoor lizard runs, small crocodilians and herps are in tubs just about everywhere. To top it all off, the marabou storks are in the public bathrooms.

Hopefully, everything will go well for everyone the storm hits.
