@David Matos Mendes Oh wow ! They have quite a good enclosure over at Brasilia don't they ? It looks great and I bet they had some breeding success with addax in it too.
@Onychorhynchus coronatus Yeah, such a nice enclosure. I liked how Brasilia exhibits african animals in a same area. This geographic way to locate exhibits can be pretty useful for education.
Althoug it's a nice place and a very serious institution, Brasilia zoo commited the mistake of letting an addax die traped in a gate. It was an accident for sure, but It's quite sad to see an animal die in such a silly way.
@Onychorhynchus coronatus It was some time ago. At the time, I hadn't been to Brasilia zoo yet, but already followed informations of most of the zoos in the country. Don't remember very well where I read it. Gonna try to find.
@Onychorhynchus coronatus Yeah, that's true. I have read this at the time it happened, but didn't remember about some of these informations. It says there are three in Brasilia and two in SP, but I have onsy seen two in Brasilia and one in SP. Hope they were hiding in their shelters or out of display instead of dead at the time I visited these institutions.
