Amur leopard enclosure

This is the largest enclosure but one of the leopards was visible at the top of the climbing frame behind, there's a third smaller enclosure behind to the right.

This is one of the best [size] leopard enclosure, but I'm sure the foliage will grow in time, with people guessing 'where's the leopard?:o'

It will take a very long time to get to that stage, although as soon as there's long grass in here the Leopards will become invisible if they want to.

Seems like YWP has some enclosures centred in the established small patches of Woodland that was already there- Tigers, Hogs, Lemurs, and most of the rest are on open farmland and so having to be 'start from scratch' paddocks. That's not to say they aren't making good enclosures, but of course these do take longer for vegetation to grow thickly and their rather stark appearance initially, to wear off.

Must retake this photo next time I go because I think the trees have already grown a fair bit.

Add a load of ropes between the platforms on the climbing structure, and the central part would be more suitable for Orangutans I think.:)

It looks from Maguari's recent photos as if they have planted some young pine trees in here now. But I still think its a queer (the true usage of the word;)) design for Leopards.
