The devils went on exhibit October 2013. There was one echidna on exhibit for a short time. I never saw it. They have moved one of the devils, Jake, to where the echidna was. The exhibit is the small enclosure down the steps from the tree kangaroo. You have to follow the path between the wombat and the camel exhibit.
Ah, thankyou for the information! I am almost sure the Devils weren't even at the Zoo at the time, because there was no hint of then even going on show.

I have no idea if they have plans to replace the echidna. Betsy said in a prior post that an echidna was briefly on exhibit in the Outback exhibit, so they may have already replaced it. It is not on exhibit if they have one, at least not as of March 2014 when I visited.
The previous devils died out, as did all the devils in the U.S. prior to the current group.
