From what I read on the Central India Zoo Authority website, there is actually one zoo in Northern India that keeps Tibetan antelope (Pantholops hodgsonii) and that is the Leh Zoo, they have 2 individuals, here is my source PIB Press Release
Oh, Indian zoos are mystery~~ And I doubt whether this species can survive well in low land zoos such as Beijjng or they can only be kept in high altitude zoos such as Leh and Xining Zoo.

I truly think that the entire Procapra genus are more altitudinal than other gazellines. For sure Pantholops and wild yak not dissimilar (although must remark Beijing Zoo did keep wild yak in a long tradition). They all would in my view not do well at any low altitude, nor in particular within a humid (sub-)tropical climate zone.

I might need to do some further research on Procapra gazelle anatomy so I can figure out why they are able to live at such high altitutudes and what prevents them from being able to survive at lower altitutudes
Tibetan gazelles (Procapra picticaudata) were actually on San Diego Zoo's 1984 master plan, but that obviously never happened, nor do I know if an import was actually attempted or planned out in detail, another species on that plan that didnt actually end up in San Diego Zoo's collection include Pere davids macaque, the Pere davids macaques (Macaca thibetana) were actually shipped in but didnt pass Quarentine because of some virus, so they ended up at Barcelona Zoo and remained there
