At Bristol the last two Gorillas from the old house, 'jeremiah' and 'Diana' were both sent to London when the old house was closed and their Gorilla island was being built. Jeremiah was both inbred and a non-breeder and Diana repeatedly failed to rear any of her infants(10 births)) successfully- I think Bristol preferred to start with new animals hoping for a better outcome.
