Bronx Zoo 2010 - Old Africa Trail sign

Old Africa Trail sign. It must be at least 10-15 years old as several species marked are no longer at the Bronx and others are now on exhibit elsewhere in the park, for instance the Maxwells Duikers are now in the Congo Gorilla Forest.
And the slender-horned are in there own exhibit?

Yes, but they are sometimes not on exhibit. Quoted from uszoo on another photo:
"That exhibit functions as the transfer chute for the nyalas to get to there nighthouse. The gazelles are in there most of the time except when the male nyala needs to be separated or the nyalas are entering/leaving the nighthouse. "

Are the storks and ostriches with the giraffes then? Also, thanks for all the info!

I don't know how they are maintaining it now, but it was designed so that from one vantage point you might see the nyala, etc., lions, gazelles and zebra (four different exhibits) as one panorama

I kind of got the hint of that whenever I went. I loved seeing all these species seemingly sharing one space.

From the zebra exhibit, you can definitely see the gazelles/kudu, but I'm not quite sure about the n'yala. Maybe, I'll have to check on my next visit. They put that netting (or wire, not sure) in between the zebras and kudu, which, from afar (and the kudu/gazelle viewing is quite far from the fence), can't really be seen.

From the lion exhibit viewing, it's hard to see the kudu/gazelle exhibit because of the tall stick pole fence in the way. But, the n'yala exhibit behind the lions... it never fails to amuse me. "Maybe the mommy lion went into that big field in the back" says a little kid. No, I don't think mommy lion went back there. :D
